Ten minutes, once. Do this before you touch any hardware: router setup cannot finish without it, and money cannot reach you without it.

Everything below happens at admin.click.tz, in a browser, on a phone or a laptop.

1. Confirm your phone number

Sign in and enter the code we text you. This becomes the number we use if we ever need to reach you about your money, so use one you will keep.

If the code does not arrive, wait a full minute before asking for another; requesting several in a row does not make them come faster, and only the newest one works.

2. Agree to the terms

You will see the exact figures on screen before you agree: 10% + TSh 20 from each sale, and TSh 150 each time money is paid out to you. Nothing upfront, no monthly fee.

Read them. They are three lines, and they are the whole commercial agreement.

3. Add the number you want to be paid on

Under Settlement Numbers, add the mobile money number your earnings should go to. Click texts a code to that number and you enter it back.

Why the code matters. A mobile money payout cannot be reversed. If Click sent money to a number nobody had proved they hold, a single typo would be somebody else's money, permanently. The code is how we know the number is really yours.

You can add more than one number, but only one is used for settlement at a time. Switching which one is used is one click, and takes effect from the next payout.

4. Choose weekly or monthly payouts

Weekly suits a shop with steady daily trade. Monthly suits a site that earns slowly, because every payout costs a flat TSh 150 whatever its size; fewer, larger payouts keep more of your money.

You can change this later and it applies from the next payout.

What happens if you skip a step

Nothing breaks loudly, which is why it is worth saying plainly:

  • No verified payout number: sales still work, money still accrues, but no payout is ever sent.
  • No payout schedule: same. The balance grows and sits there.
  • Terms not agreed: you cannot add a router or a device at all.

The Overview page tells you which of these is outstanding, and keeps telling you until it is done.
