Click Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 By ordering, activating or using any Click product, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Click.
1.2 Click supplies to businesses. The services are not offered to individuals for personal use.
2. Service Licence
2.1 Click grants Customers a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Click OS and the WISP Billing dashboard on the devices they register.
2.2 Click WISP and WISP Billing licences run for as long as the account remains open.
2.3 Click Hotel licences are one-time lifetime licences, valid for the licensed property up to the zones and concurrent clients of the tier purchased: Basic (1 zone / 200 clients), Standard (2 / 400), Plus (3 / 600), Pro (4 / 800), Max (5 / 1,000).
2.4 The Click OS ISO licence permits installation on one device per licence purchased.
2.5 Customers may not reverse engineer, decompile, copy or modify the software, remove licence mechanisms, resell or sublicense the software, or use one licence across more properties or devices than purchased.
2.6 Tampering with licence keys, tier limits, metering or fee calculation logic is a material breach and grounds for immediate termination.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Click WISP and WISP Billing carry no upfront licence fee. Click charges 10% of transaction value plus TSh 20 per transaction, and a flat TSh 150 per settlement.
3.2 Fees are deducted from collected revenue before settlement and are itemised in the Customer's dashboard.
3.3 Click Hotel and ISO licences are payable in full before the licence key is issued. Hardware is payable in full before dispatch unless credit terms are agreed in writing.
3.4 Prices are in Tanzanian Shillings. Customers are responsible for their own tax obligations.
3.5 Click may change transaction fees, settlement fees and hardware prices on 30 days' notice. Hotel licences already purchased are not affected by price changes.
4. Settlements
4.1 The Customer, not Click, sells internet access to end users. Click provides the portal, records the transaction and reconciles payment.
4.2 Settlements are paid to the mobile money wallet nominated by the Customer, on request, net of fees.
4.3 The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the nominated wallet number. Click is not liable for funds sent to an incorrect number supplied by the Customer.
4.4 Click may hold, delay or reverse a settlement where it reasonably suspects fraud, voucher abuse or tampering, where a mobile money provider reverses the underlying transaction, or where required by law or court order.
4.5 Settlements may be delayed by mobile network outages, wallet or KYC limits imposed by the mobile operator, or public holidays.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Customers are solely responsible for holding any licence or permit required to operate their network and resell internet access.
5.2 Customers are solely responsible for their relationship with their own end users, including pricing, quality of service, complaints and refunds.
5.3 Customers are solely responsible for maintaining backups of their configuration and user data.
5.4 Customers must not use the services, or permit their users to use them, to break the law, distribute malware, attack or scan networks, send unsolicited bulk messages, infringe intellectual property, or interfere with Click's platform.
5.5 Customers indemnify Click against claims, losses, fines and reasonable legal costs arising from breach of this section.
6. Service Suspension and Termination
6.1 Click may suspend services immediately for: violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, tampering with licensing or fee logic, or legal or regulatory requirement.
6.2 Click may terminate where the Customer fails to pay within 14 days of notice, materially breaches these Terms and does not remedy within 30 days, or becomes insolvent.
6.3 Customers may close a revenue-sharing account on 30 days' notice. Fees already incurred remain payable.
6.4 On termination, outstanding fees fall due immediately, Click will settle any balance owed within 30 days, and the Customer has 30 days to export data before deletion.
6.5 Click Hotel lifetime licences will not be revoked on ordinary termination or if Click discontinues the product. They may be revoked only for breach of clause 2.5, unlawful use, or non-payment.
7. Hardware
7.1 An order is accepted when Click confirms it in writing or dispatches it. Delivery dates are estimates.
7.2 Risk passes to the Customer on delivery. Title passes on payment in full.
7.3 Visible damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Units that fail to power on or provision must be reported within 7 days.
7.4 Appliances carry a 12-month limited warranty from delivery. See section 8.
7.5 Customers using their own hardware are responsible for meeting the published minimum specification (x86_64, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, 2 network ports). MikroTik SMIPS devices are not supported.

8.2 Dead on arrival
Report within 7 days of delivery with order number, serial number and photographs or video. Click collects at its own cost and provides a replacement or full refund, including original delivery charges, at the Customer's choice.
8.3 Unopened returns
Appliances returned unopened, unused and in original sealed packaging with all accessories within 14 days of delivery are refundable less a 10% restocking fee. The Customer pays return shipping. Original delivery charges are not refunded.
8.4 Non-returnable
Click cannot accept returns of appliances that have been opened, provisioned or used on a live network unless faulty; units showing physical damage, liquid ingress, power surge or tampering; units with missing serial numbers, accessories or packaging; bespoke configured or bulk orders unless faulty; or any return requested after the applicable deadline. Return shipping is at the Customer's risk.
8.5 Software licences
Hotel licences are refundable in full within 14 days of purchase if the key has not been activated. Once activated they are non-refundable. Where a Customer purchases the wrong tier, Click will credit the full amount against the correct tier within 30 days of purchase.
ISO licences are refundable within 7 days only where the key has not been issued, downloaded or activated. They are not refundable where the Customer's hardware fails to meet the published minimum specification.
Exception: where the software cannot be made to work on hardware meeting the published specification, and Click cannot resolve the fault within 30 days of written report, the Customer is entitled to a full refund of the licence fee.
8.6 Hardware warranty
Appliances are covered for 12 months from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Click will repair, replace or refund a fair proportion of the purchase price at its option.
The warranty does not cover: power surges, lightning, unstable mains supply or inadequate earthing; water, dust or pest ingress; heat, fire or corrosion; physical damage after delivery; unauthorised repair, modification or third-party firmware; theft, loss or vandalism; cables and adapters after 6 months; faults caused by third-party hardware or the Customer's upstream connection; or units not purchased from Click or an authorised reseller.
A surge protector and UPS are strongly recommended at every site.
Claims: contact support with the serial number. Click attempts remote diagnosis first. The Customer pays shipping to Click; Click pays return shipping for valid claims. Where no fault is found or the fault is excluded, an inspection fee of TSh 50,000 plus return shipping applies. Repaired or replaced units are covered for the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days from return, whichever is longer.
8.7 Fees and failed payments
Where an end user is debited but no session is delivered due to a platform fault, the transaction is reversed and no transaction fee is charged. Any fee already taken is credited automatically. Reversal timing depends on the mobile money provider.
Fee disputes must be raised within 60 days of the transaction date. Settlement fees are not refundable once a settlement has been executed, except where the settlement failed due to a fault on Click's side. Duplicate payments are refunded in full within 14 working days.
8.8 End user refunds
Click does not refund end users. The contract for internet access is between the end user and the Customer operating the network. The Customer sets the price and terms and is responsible for handling end user complaints and refunds. Where a payment fails at platform level, clause 8.7 applies automatically. All other cases are the Customer's to decide and fund. End users contacting Click directly will be referred to the operator.
8.9 Making a claim
Submit the order or transaction reference, serial number or licence key, a description of the fault, photographs or video for hardware, and the wallet or account for refund, to hello@click.co.tz or +255 713 020 203 (phone or WhatsApp). Click acknowledges within 2 working days and decides within 10 working days of receiving complete information. Approved refunds are issued within 14 working days, to the original payment method. Mobile money and bank charges are not refundable.
9. Support and Availability
9.1 Support is provided by telephone and WhatsApp (+255 713 020 203) and email (hello@click.co.tz) during published business hours. Quoted response times are targets, not guarantees.
9.2 Click may release updates and security patches, and may apply them automatically where necessary. Click may add, modify or discontinue features on 30 days' notice where practicable.
9.3 Unless a separate service level agreement has been signed, Click does not guarantee uptime. Network performance also depends on the Customer's upstream link, power supply and hardware, and on the mobile money networks.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Click OS, firmware, dashboards, the Click name and logo, and all documentation remain the property of Click.
10.2 Customer data, branding and content remain the property of the Customer. The Customer grants Click a limited licence to host and process it in order to provide the services.
10.3 Click OS includes open source components licensed under their own terms, which prevail where they conflict with these Terms.
11. Liability
11.1 Click provides the services with reasonable skill and care and warrants that appliances conform to their published specification on delivery. All other warranties are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
11.2 Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data.
11.3 Click's total aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by the Customer in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Liability relating to a specific appliance is additionally limited to the price paid for that appliance.
11.4 Click is not liable for failures, outages, delays or reversals of mobile money providers or banks, the Customer's upstream internet or power supply, hardware supplied by the Customer, the Customer's configuration choices, or the Customer's failure to hold a required licence.
11.5 Claims must be brought within 12 months of the claimant becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to them.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including power failure, national internet or mobile network outage, mobile money platform failure, fibre cuts, natural disaster, fire, flood, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strike or government action. Where such an event continues beyond 60 days, either party may terminate on written notice.
13. Modifications
Click may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Disputes will first be escalated between senior representatives of both parties for 30 days, and failing resolution shall be settled in Tanzanian courts.
