Payout numbers

The mobile money number your earnings are sent to. Under Settlement Numbers.

Which networks you can be paid on

Payouts go to M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas or Airtel Money.

That is a shorter list than the wallets your customers can pay with; they can also use HaloPesa. Paying in and being paid out are different rails, and only the three above can receive a disbursement.

Adding one

1. Settlement Numbers → Add number.
2. Enter the number and choose its network.
3. Click texts a code to that number.
4. Enter the code back.

Until the code is entered the number is unverified, and an unverified number is never paid to.

Why the code exists

A mobile money payout cannot be reversed. If Click sent your earnings to a number nobody had proved they hold, one wrong digit would put your money permanently in a stranger's wallet, with no way to get it back.

The code proves the phone is in your hand. It is the only thing standing between a typo and losing a month's takings.

If the code does not arrive

Wait a full minute before asking for another. Requesting several in a row does not make them come faster, and only the newest one works.

If it still does not arrive, the number is usually mistyped; check it digit by digit against the SIM, not against memory.

Using more than one number

You can hold several verified numbers, but only one is used for settlement at a time. Switch which one with a single click; it takes effect from the next payout.

A payout that is already Processing cannot be redirected. Wait for it to land, then switch.

Use a number in your own name

Put your earnings on a number registered to you or your business. A number in an employee's name is a number you cannot claim if they leave, and mobile money providers will not move it for you.

Who can do this

Owners and Sales staff can add and verify payout numbers. Technicians cannot see this area at all.

Only an owner can see Settlements, the actual payouts. So a Sales member can set up where money goes but cannot see how much has gone.
