Managing your devices
Everything about a live box, from Devices.
The list
Each device shows its name, whether it is online, where it is, its licence and when it last checked in. Devices report roughly every minute.
A device you have not set up yet appears as Pending activation, with its token beside it.
Opening one
Click a device to see:
- Status: online or offline right now
- Licence: active or otherwise
- Connected users: how many people are on it this moment
- Last seen: when it last reported
Details you can set
Name: what you call this site. Do it: when you have six boxes, "Device #4" tells you nothing about which one a customer is complaining about.
Location: the branch or area. Appears in your lists and on the Fleet Map.
Map coordinates: latitude and longitude, so the device appears in the right place on the Fleet Map. You can read these off any phone map app by holding a pin.
Notes: anything you want to remember. "PSU replaced 12 Aug", "key with the security guard". This is for you; nothing reads it.
Each saves on its own, so there is no form to complete and nothing is lost if you set one and walk away.
Bandwidth
Devices report how much data has gone to and from customers, and when they last reported it. Use it to see whether a site is actually being used, as opposed to merely being switched on.
Transactions on this device
Every sale made through this box, with amount, status and date. The quickest answer to "is this site earning".
Archiving a device
A box you have taken out of service should be archived, not deleted.
Archiving hides it from your device list and stops it counting toward your totals, so a shop you closed does not drag down your fleet's online percentage forever. Its history stays, and you can bring it back at any time.
Nothing is deleted and nothing is lost.
Adding more boxes
Devices → Add a device gives you another activation token, on the same revenue-share terms. There is no limit and no per-device fee.

Your packages apply everywhere
By default, every package you create is available on every device you own. If one site needs different prices, restrict that package to specific devices (see Packages).
